Dr Janet is an experienced GP and women's health specialist, helping women, families and organisations navigate perimenopause , menopause and post menopause with confidence. She combines decades of clinical expertise with clarity, care and compassion.
Menopause is more than a personal health issue – it can have a significant impact on workplace wellbeing. Symptoms can affect attendance, productivity and career progression, with managers and colleagues often unsure how to help. Creating a menopause-aware workplace means building a culture where people feel safe, supported and understood.
Dr Janet’s engaging, medically-led workshops give organisations the tools to better support their people. Designed for employees, managers and leadership teams, her sessions encourage healthier relationships, stronger workplaces and a more positive outlook on the next stage of life.
With over 30 years' experience as a doctor, specialising in women's health, Dr Janet has supported women through every stage of life. A member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists – with additional training in menopause care and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – she’s worked with thousands of patients in the NHS.
Experiencing menopause herself while balancing family life, caring responsibilities and a demanding medical career has given Dr Janet a deeper appreciation of the challenges many women face. That personal insight, alongside a lifetime in women's healthcare, shapes her empathetic approach and her belief that menopause should be faced head-on with knowledge, confidence and hope.
Menopause is surrounded by silence, stigma and misunderstanding. Too many women feel they simply have to "get on with it", while families, friends and colleagues can be unsure what to do. Dr Janet believes it’s time for a different conversation – one that's open and honest.
By sharing trusted medical expertise in an accessible way, she’s helping to create lasting change. Her work goes beyond managing symptoms; it's about challenging perceptions and giving people the reassurance to see menopause for what it really is – a natural stage of life that deserves to be seen as an opportunity to thrive.
Interactive, medically-informed in-person workshops that help organisations create more menopause-aware workplaces. Designed for employees, managers and leadership teams, each session combines expert insight with practical advice to encourage open conversations, reduce stigma and build confidence across the workplace.
Confidential, personalised sessions for women seeking expert guidance and practical support throughout their menopause journey. Every consultation provides the time and space to discuss symptoms, explore treatment options and develop strategies tailored to individual needs and circumstances.
Every session is designed to leave people feeling more informed, more reassured and better equipped for the future. Rather than overwhelming participants with medical jargon or statistics, Dr Janet’s welcoming, interactive sessions encourage questions, challenge misconceptions and help people make sense of menopause in really accessible ways.
Whether supporting an individual or an entire organisation, the focus is always the same – building confidence, encouraging open conversations and giving people the right tools to help partners, colleagues and families better understand and support the women in their lives.
